Warehouse workers perform an array of functions including but not limited to picking, cycle counting, packaging, shipping for internal and external customers, and overseeing stock in the warehouse.

 

Shifts: 

1st 7:30am - 3:40pm 

2nd 3:30pm - 11:40pm 

3rd 11:30pm - 7:40am 

 

The position will be a Warehouse Entry in a union environment with an opportunity to grow and learn. The currently hourly rate $18.04 with an additional $1.23 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

 

Job Duties include:

  • Load, unload, and move materials to assigned storage locations within the warehouse and production with a material handling cart, fork truck, pallet jack and/or WAV (on-site training provided)
  • Packing, picking and preparing orders to include the proper paperwork for shipments
  • Liaison between Shipping/Receiving and other departments pertaining to material movement
  • Transport materials between the warehouse and assembly location
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions including but not limited to shipping and invoicing processes
  • Follows established work practices and procedures to ensure quality while following applicable business management procedures
  • Other duties may include cycle counting, maintaining FIFO, monitoring shop supplies, and general housekeeping
  • Notifies management of unsafe working conditions or practices in and out of assigned work area by entering a safety opportunity card

 

 

Qualifications:

High School Diploma

35 pound lifting limit

Intermediate computer skills

Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work

Preferred experience with SAP, UPS WorldShip and FedEx portals
