Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for supervising the Warehouse functions to ensure compliance with required processes and guidelines accomplishing business plan objectives and customer related KPI’s. Supervise Logistics (inbound and outbound), control the inventory through cycle counts process. This position has a significant impact on Sales and Customer Centricity and working closely with Supply chain & master scheduling departments to ensure the reliability of the inventory. Make sure the lines keep running according to the production schedule in an efficiency manner. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS  

Supervise all warehouse processes and overall TQMS for the warehouses.  

Create SOP for Warehouse. 

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action for arising issues to control properly the inventory at the site. 

Inventory accuracy to be maintained within established margins, including cycle count/stock take co-ordination and bin accuracy within Corporate Compliance Standards and auditing principles.  

Maintain 99% accuracy in storage location: USMX0001 to USMX0006, USMX0500 to USMX0501 

Manage IDOC process: Both internal (Timken SAP – DWL) Idoc’s as well as EDI IDOC’s to be maintained daily with necessary corrective action taken where applicable.  

Maintain 99% inventory accuracy in Finish good USMX1001, USMXICHU 

Maintain the Scrap control under IMMEX regulation. 

Receive and process the supplier invoices for direct / indirect material to create good receipt in SAP and post the passive debt in system making sure to accomplish with Financial process. 

Maintain 5s audits in warehouse accomplishing 100% 5s milestones per audit. 

Supervise the prevent maintenance / corrective maintenance on the forklift in order to keep them running in good conditions.  

0 accident in warehouse areas. 

Clean up SNAGS discrepancy for receiving and shipping every month. 

To be the leader on Annual Inventory. 

Supervise talent ensuring that associates are well trained, developed and engaged with Company targets and HR categories against development plan. 

 

PACKAGING, RAW MATERIAL SUPPLY TO PRODUCTION LINE  

Supervise total production planning; including, consumable store and packaging requirements.  

Supervise the WIP (production order) material supplied to the lines to accomplish with 100% master schedule. 

Supervise finish good pickups on the lines to maintain the production flow (calculate pickups time per line) making sure the proper consumption / confirmation in the orders.  

Supervise packaging of product when necessary. (B&O carton + labeling, films, wood pallets,etc.)  

Implement consumable kanban system for warehouse needs. 

Maintain 98% accuracy in WIP inventory with cycle counting support. 

 

SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS  

Supervise all Shipping for the plant, ensuring shipment dates are updated and accurately reflected in SAP.  

Perform shipping audits on the shipping paperwork to accomplish the customer requirements (take shipping evidence for the finish good shipment) 

Monitor and report on time shipping and on time receiving.  

Ensure EHS is maintained in your areas of responsibility.  

0 customer claims for miss labeling, shortages, material with wrong identification, material mixes. 

 

 

Education / Experience

Required – Bachelor’s degree in Business, supply chain,engineering,  or related with 3+ years’ of experience.
