Rollon by Timken is seeking an experienced Junior Controller to join its team in Norton Shores. This on-site position supports the Business Controller in the day-to-day aspects of the business’s accounting and reporting functions. The Junior Controller will play a large role in the month-end closing process.

 

Responsibilities:

Executing the daily operations of the accounting department

- Timely and accurate completion of monthly accounting close and financial reporting package

- Support business plan and financial forecast preparation and analysis

- Inventory valuation

- AR / AP management

- Cash collection / monitoring ageing of receivables

- Collections

- Ensure proper and accurate accounting procedures and initiate corrective actions

 

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required

- 3 years experience in an Industrial Accounting enivronment, with a Controlling-focused role

- Advanced MS Excel: must be proficient in vLookups and Pivot Tables

- D365, QBO, QBE experience

- SOX compliance

- US Citizen or Greencard holder; sponsorship is not available for this position
