This position exists to ensure that all products finished ground, assembled and shipped from the New Philadelphia Bearing Plant meet customer expectations for performance.

Responsibilities:  Proper set-up of grinding cell(s) including all adjustments necessary, either manual or programmed, to run product to spec. Manual loading of work pieces to and from shoes, chuck, etc. Transportation of tooling, equipment and materials to and from work areas. Accuracy of production transactions required. Measure, pack, and ship completed product when necessary. Accuracy of quality checks for visual defects and dimensional conformance to specifications required. Troubleshooting and corrective action as necessary to ensure continuous production of quality product. Safety and attention to detail to prevent injury to self and others is expected.  Other duties as assigned.

This position exists to ensure that all products assembled and shipped from the New Philadelphia Bearing Plant meet customer expectations for quality specifications, including documentation and certification.

 

Position is an afternoon shift role, working hours are 3pm to 1am (Monday through Thursday). Overtime opportunities on Friday.

 

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.  Associate Degree in manufacturing, machining, or engineering preferred   Previous Work Experience desired: Precision grinding of product, mechanic duties, Manufacturing Tech, and/or troubleshooting experience.

-Prior experience with micrometers, gauges, and/or calibers
