This position works directly with the sales team and customers to provide technical and systems support for Groeneveld-Beka Lubrication Systems as well as in-process product designs for the purposes of maximizing production capacity, minimizing manufacturing costs, continuous improvements, improving customer delivery, improving product quality, and/or eliminating safety concerns.

This is a key role in lubrication system application design. This position will work directly with OEM and other customer engineering teams to ensure proper design and fit is achieved to the customer applications.  

Responsibilities:

1. Directs the selection and configuration of standard and custom products to meet customers' application requirements. 
2. Use CAD software (drafting, modeling, assembly), including finished customer and finished source prints and schematics, 
3. Supports operations in product assembly process by identifying and developing; layouts, productivity improvements and expansion projects.
4. Directs the development of Bill of Materials, including; quality, accuracy and on-going monitoring.
5. Routinely works directly with external customers to solve application issues, troubleshoot as needed as well as resolves customer complaints. 
6. Generate technical notices, bulletins, catalogs and brochures.
7. This position will develop into the Dayton plant technical expert for manufacturing processes supporting Dayton, including contract manufacturing.
8. Lead the efforts to add new manufacturing processes to the Dayton location.  This can include; safety, machine design, equipment layout, maintenance programs, cost analysis, project manage manufacturing capital projects, etc.

Technical and Functional Skills:

1. Microsoft Office skills 
2. Speadsheet and analytics
3. Strong planning and Organization Skills
4. SAP experience
5. Excellent written and oral skills

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors in engineering is preferred or 5 plus years experience. 

Position is expected to travel approximately up to 20% of the time.
