Qualification / Experience: 

Experience: 8 – 12 years in the bearing industry and/or reputable auto component industry.

Qualification: Graduate with relevant experience of 8-12 years. Preference for Commerce graduates with part or full ICWA, CA, or import-export management certification.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Fulfil requirements of export-import and related statutory obligations.
• Minimize the landing cost of imported materials by leveraging various government benefits.
• Reduce logistics costs.

Key Result Areas:

Import:

• Track shipments and update IBD.
• Ensure custom clearance at concessional or duty-free rates using licenses.
• Manage custom clearance for old and used capital goods.
• Approve CHA for BOE filing.
• Align custom duty calculations with purchase orders.
• Coordinate MIRO posting.
• Request finance for custom duty payments.
• Coordinate with CHA for clearance and delivery.
• Issue inward e-waybills to transporters.
• Track export obligations for duty-free imports.
• Apply to DGFT for export obligation discharge certificates.
• Revoke bonds submitted to customs.
• Submit import documents to finance for import payment release.

Export:

• Daily track shipments departing from the plant.
• Plan shipments and maintain warehouse in/out TAT.
• Transmit daily invoices and packing lists to CHA/forwarders.
• Approve CHA for shipping bill filing with customs under appropriate schemes/benefits.
• Communicate with overseas logistics counterparts.
• Monitor IGST refund/DBK incentive status.
• Work on export reversals quarterly.
• Submit post-export documents to finance for bank submission for foreign currency inward remittance.

Liaisoning:

• Liaise with government agencies (Customs, Port/Airport Authorities, DGFT, EEPC, FIEO, State Sales Tax, DRI, etc.).

• Coordinate with forwarding agents, liner agents, steamer agents, airlines, CHA, etc.
• Obtain export benefits and fulfil statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely shipments and track shipments/sales tagging.

Logistics:

• Plan transportation for export dispatches and import consignments.
• Control transportation costs for export and import.
• Provide standard warehousing for export and import materials to safeguard product quality at minimum cost and convenient locations.
