Timken is a great place to set the groundwork for your future. You’ll find internship and co-op opportunities, across a number of different specialties, that can prepare you for a prosperous career.

Engineering Co-Op Program

Classroom learnings set the foundation for your career. It’s time to experience the hands-on, practical application of your studies to turn your knowledge into know-how.

An Engineering Co-Op with Timken prepares you for your career by developing your engineering skills in a professional work setting at a leading global company. You’ll get invaluable mentorship working alongside highly experienced engineers who design, develop, apply, manufacture and sell or service our entire product line. Every day is a chance to gain skills and knowledge that give your early career an advantage.

The Timken Engineering Co-Op program is designed for full-time students who plan to work three-to-five semester terms while completing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. After the first semester, an eligible co-op may apply for one of three defined career paths: Engineering, Manufacturing or Sales Engineering.

Internships

We value our interns because we know that the next generation will shape the future – whether you return to Timken as an employee to help us achieve new levels of success or you choose to move the world forward in your own way.

Our goal is to provide you with an experience that can unlock your ambitions and hone your perspectives. Throughout the company and across many disciplines, paid internship positions give students the opportunity to grow critical thinking skills and gain hands-on job training.

Learning from career mentors, you’ll have access to the latest technologies and business practices. You’ll be challenged to demonstrate your strengths and apply your knowledge independently and as part of a team. And you’ll come away with the advantage of doing it all within a global company known for innovation.
