  • Manage the training function to ensure a successful contribution is being made to the attainment of plant objectives and goals.
  • Identify needs and provide developmental activities for special training programs when required.
  • Develop and execute the technical training process, developing procedures, instructions, among others.
  • Support and execute the company strategy to have competent certified associates in their roles.
  • Lead the Technical Competencies Certification Program.
  • Administer, create and/or revise training materials in support of Rodamientos operations.
  • Work with management team to ensure all training documentation, tracking, and logistics are up to date.
  • Ensure that all associates are located in the right position and in the right salary range according to the skill matrix and to the union contract.



  • Management & Communication of the Training function throughout the Rodamientos Plant.
  • Development, coordination and implementation of job specific training and certification process for both manufacturing and support positions.
  • Responsible of updating the skills matrix.
  • Management of the effectiveness of training that is conducted at Plant.
  • Development, coordination and certification of plant-wide and internal trainers.
  • Manages the documentation of completed training for each associate in Plant.
  • Ensure all training records and evidence are in place.
  • Tracks and distributes training hours.
  • Assures compliance to the training requirements and procedures.
  • Administer, create and/or revise training materials in support of Rodamientos operations.
  • Supports all Corporate required training objectives.
  • Develops, implements and tracks annual training plan.
  • Identifies and manages minimum training requirements for each position as well as developmental training planning for associates in the Rodamientos Plant.
  • Coordinate the meetings and interaction between all areas to ensure that all criteria for the competencies certification it is being considered.
  • Ensures management and supervisory training and development for succession planning and for taking the different categories according to the Union Contract.
  • Propose to the internal customer the most effective training program maximizing current resources.
  • Work with management team to ensure all training documentation, tracking, and logistics are up to date.
  • Present to the Plant Manager the status of the certification program.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology or similar

Work experience of minimum 5 years in similar positions.
