Position Summary:  Responsible for monthly financial consolidation, Internal Control documentation and various analyses needed to assist management in decision making.  Tasks include journal entry preparation, assuring Sarbanes Compliance, balance sheet reconciliations, and forecasting and planning analysis.  Analyze financial information and make appropriate recommendations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of balance sheet and P&L account through regular monthly analysis
  • Sarbanes Oxley Internal Control Documentation and Validation
  • Assist in closing the month according to the Timken schedule
  • Assist with inputting forecast into Hyperion for Belts and Chains
  • Assist with creating monthly performance review for Belts and Drives
  • Ad-hoc analysis around profitability
  • Help facilitate forecast reviews with sales and production
  • Perform annual Internal audits
  • Coordinate the gathering of data and the preparation of all internal reports, assuring their accuracy and timely submission
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

 

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Reconciliation and support of SAP transactions and financial statements
  • Validation and documentation of Sarbanes Oxley and Internal Controls and audits.
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel skills
  • High drive and ability to multi-task

 

Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  Three or more years’ experience in manufacturing accounting.
