Rollon by Timken is growing and is in need of an experienced CNC Machinist for our operation in Norton Shores, MI. Our ideal candidate will have a min of 3 to 5 years' experience running large mills, including programming, have Haas and Fanuc controls experience and solidworks profiiciency. Esprit and solidworks CAD to CAM experience is a plus! 

 

Primary Job Functions:

  • Keep spindle running

  • Run CNC Bridge Mill / Large-format machining

  • 8 meter and 12 meter Boring Mills with Fanuc Panels and Manual Tool Changing

  • Haas Mills

  • Setup Tooling during long cycle operations

  • Setup Large Parts online and offline

  • Maintain production schedule and cycle times

  • Keep workspace clean and maintained

  • Perform routine maintenance on machine(s) and work centers

  • Daily cleaning of work area

  • Track schedule

  • Lathe experience a plus

 

Required skills and experience:

  • 3 to 5 years CNC experience, including programming

  • Forklift experience and prior certification

  • Applicant must be able to walk, stand, climb, lift up and/or move up to 50 pounds, see, hear and use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

  • High School Graduate or Equivalant (background check required)

  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship - no sponsorship is available for this position
