Bachelor’s in Engineering with 6 - 10 Years of experience. Experience in bearing or automobile or auto component manufacturing having grinding operation. 
Qualification: B Tech – Mechanical preferred but B Tech in other stream can also apply if the candidate has relevant working experience in manufacturing 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure cost effective production of end products for his Cell in accordance with the Master Production Schedule through effectively managing resources (materials, machines, men and method).
  • To motivates guides and develops subordinates to achieve / exceed business plan targets and encourages the evolution of new ideas for continuous improvement and maintaining consistency in Quality of the products. The jobholder provides guidance to his subordinates to enable them to resolve technical issues and to effectively manage within the defined resources.
  • Responsible for monitoring performance on a daily basis, providing timely feedback, and taking corrective action based on the aforesaid. In this capacity, he has to develop systems to monitor supervisor’s effectiveness, and to track operator’s individual performance.
  • Ensures the adoption of safe and environmentally friendly work practices and activities within and around the plant
